Paris in the Spring – a few years ago my friend Ethan married a French girl.
The wedding took place in a small town on the outskirts of Paris.

I have been to Paris 4 times in the past.

First time on a trip with my family.

A second time when I learned to be a tour guide and the internship I did in Paris

Another time was when I was traveling with friends to watch a basketball game in a European basketball competition.

Last time as part of a company trip.

I’ve never been with a female in Paris and not since the last time in 2009.

And so I took my girlfriend, at that time, and we flew to the wedding.

It was her second time in Paris.

Hotel in Paris – Holiday Inn Montparnasse Pasteur

We chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Montparnasse Pasteur.

This four stars hotel located in the 15th Arrondissement has a restaurant and it is near Paris Catacombs.

The hotel is close to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and it has private parking and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel was lovely and you will find yourself in a non-central residential neighborhood.

To get to the city center, you take the Metro to the Lafayette Gallery station and from there to the city center.

The hotel is recommended if you are looking for a cheap option and there is no pressure of time or need to be in the center of Paris.

Paris in the Spring – Montparnasse Tower

The Eiffel Tower is very impressive, but when you go up, you can see all of Paris except the Eiffel Tower itself.

So tip #1- To see all of Paris and the Eiffel Tower, you should go to the Montparnasse tower.

The queue is short, the tower has air-conditioned, and it has a telescope so you can view all parts of the city.

Upstairs you will find a restaurant and the most important thing- a beautiful view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.

Montmartre and Sacre-Coeur Church

Montmartre and Sacre-Coeur Church, besides being a beautiful place for a stroll, also contains crazy little shops with a market in the center and lots of delicious ice cream.

You will love to sit on the stairs under the foot of the church.
Listen to street performances and people from all over the world.

Rue Mouffetard

The street to spend the day and also the night.

A place tourists haven’t heard of and which is full of original Parisian.

On Rue Mouffetard, you will see French people sitting outside the cafe watching the passersby when everything inside is empty (No air conditioning anywhere).

There you will see a terrific queue for one of the best ice creams- Amorino. Also, you will find a dance bar with air-conditioned called β€œat Felix”.
Yes, it is not a mistake, one of the only ones I came across in Paris with an air conditioner that actually works.

Access to the street via Metro Station Place Monge station.

Paris in the spring – Rue des Rosiers

On Sundays, most of the city is closed.
There is one district that on Sunday is open, which is the quarter of the Jews.

Rue des Rosiers is full of restaurants, cafes, fashion shops, ice creams, and good people.

Paris in the spring – Saint Germain

You must have heard of Saint Germain thanks to the successful football team and mainly because of the quarter.

Go there mainly during the day.
See the good life in Paris, Paris in the spring.
